HPD Receives Two BMW Motorcycles

Recently the Hendersonville Police Department received two patrol motorcycles from the N.C. Governor's Highway Safety Grant.

These two BMW motorcycles have been put into service on our Patrol Bureau as tools for effective traffic enforcement.  They will be used to enforce many traffic laws, most notably the speed limits and the red light and stop sign traffic controls.

Four officers have been chosen to operate the motorcycles.
