| he Hendersonville Police Department was started about 40 years after the City's incorporation in 1847. Chief B.B. Jackson was appointed as first town Police Chief in 1889.
Staff Sergeant Cox is currently researching the history of the department and is searching for any historical documents, pictures, or stories available for review.
