Chief Blake assumed duties as Chief of Police for the for the City of Hendersonville on January 2, 2008.  His other law enforcement experiences include Police Chief for the City of Loris, South Carolina for seven years, patrol and support services Liuetenant with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office in Ridgeland, South Carolina for four years, patrol officer with the town of Ridgeland, South Carolina, reserve deputy with the Jasper County Sherrif’s Office, as well as a law enforcement specialist with the U.S. Navy.

 

  Chief Blake has a Master’s Degree in Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Park University. He is a graduate of the 35th Management College at the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration in Plano Texas. The Executive Management Program (EMP), at Northwestern University; the Police Executive Development Course (POLEX), at Penn State University and a host of other leadership development programs. 

 

  Chief Blake has served as adjunt faculty for business and for criminal justioce courses at an array of area colleges.  The Chief has also written articles that have been published by some of the leading periodicals in law enforcement.
